This article explains how to change the language used throughout the AlignEat app.
Supported languages
AlignEat supports multiple languages, including English and Arabic. When you switch to Arabic, the entire app layout flips to a right-to-left direction. All text, navigation, and menus adjust automatically.
How to change your language
- Open the app and go to Settings.
- Tap Language.
- Choose your preferred language from the list.
Your choice is saved to your profile, so if you sign in on another device your language preference comes with you.
Good to know
- Switching languages takes effect immediately. You do not need to restart the app.
- The right-to-left layout in Arabic applies to the full app, including menus, scan results, and the Diet ID card.
- If the language you need is not listed, the app defaults to English.
